Clubs,Cardrooms and explotation of innocent people

It is interesting to note that the metropolitan cities will have card rooms in all most all clubs and these card rooms are provided based on the economic criteria of the customers. These clubs earn revenue from these people only. In these clubs the top bureaucrat’s and the political leaders are involved such that there will not be any action in this regard, they get their licenses very easily by bribing the commissioner and other people they get their licenses and there is no vigilance on these club and it is known fact to everyone. The area ACP’s will receive their mamools every month.

Are we really need the card rooms ?Are we are not encouraging them to play in these clubs. The members who play regularly these card with money lost their family life and they are addicted to these clubs and simultaneously they will also become drinkers’ and finally they will be in financial crunch. We can also see in these clubs some people lend money to them with higher rate of interest and earn their livelihood on these poor innocent people.

We have in fact print media and electronic media if they wish they can highlight these items at least occasionally in their columns but they don’t do it because they have to take their Managing director or Chief editor permission for publishing these items and their boss will not publish because they have very good contacts with these club owners.

Some how we have to stop this activity whole heartedly and everyone should lead a comfortable life with their families.

I am not denying that we don’t need clubs , we need clubs where the innocent are not exploited for the sake of few individuals who runs the show for their easy way of earning money and to become popular in the society. The government has to do something for this very seriously otherwise there is no meaning what we are doing for the innocent people.

It has been recently published in eenadu news paper on 13-08-2010 with respect to clubs in Hyderabad cities.

The Paper Says that
1.More than 100 clubs are present in Hyderabad and Secunderabad city.
2.In the name of recreation they have these card room and halls.
3.Distribution of percentage from club owners to right from police to politicians.
4.The paper says that some clubs revenue is more than 1 carore per day and sometimes it is more also.
5.In medium and small clubs the daily transaction are around 40 lakhs per day.
6.They supply food, mineral water for free of cost to these customers.
7.During the time of Mr Dinesh Reddy there was some control on these clubs.
8.It is interesting to note that the money lenders lend money to these customers for higher rate of interest and they exploit the weakness of these people and they are available in the club premises only.

The problem is known to everyone but no one would like to talk on this important issue and the government is looking as spectator and the elected representatives have links with these clubs. Everyone thinks that this is not their problem.

I wish that the Government should do something on this issue and try to resolve the issue on priority basis.
